As much as possible, Delta Linux should just work, following the instructions found here.
There are two exceptions. Everything will still work without these, but you may wish to change them.
The first thing, is that the partition that saves your changes, called 'dlhome', is very small. This is done to make sure that the download is as small as possible, and that it will fit on as many USB keys/SD cards as possible.
The fix for this is easy. When you first boot, you will be presented with 3 options: Default, HighRAM, and Safe/Fresh. You can't be using the second partition to make this change, and only the Default option does. So, choose either of the other two.
When fully booted, right click anywhere on the desktop, and in the menu that pops up, go to System > Partition Settings. At the top right of the window that opens, select your Delta Linux media.(USB/SD) You will be able to tell by the size, the labels dlsys and dlhome, and empty space at the end of the drive. Resize the dlhome partition to fill the drive. Apply changes, and reboot, using the Default option from now on.
Again, to be clear, you don't need to do the above, but it is nice to be able to use all of your available space.
The second, and last thing that you should deal with after install, is that kodi will not update as it is. Also, you should only do this if you have successfully resized you dlhome partition as described above.
In your file manager, in your home folder, pressing Ctrl+h shows your hidden files, hidden by starting them with a period, '.' many of which are files that are configuration files for your programs.
In this case, you are interested in the .kodi folder. Copy that folder, paste it anywhere else, as in any folder.(Make sure you have pasted it.) Remove the original .kodi folder from your home folder, and then move the copy back. You can get rid of the original copy, but keep the new version in your home folder.
The short explanation of this, is that kodi is not able to write to the .kodi folder, until you manually write to it. So, you simply have to copy it, remove the original, and move the copy back in it's place. Once more, you don't need to do this, but kodi will not update otherwise.
As always, thank you for your time.
That is All.
